Privacy Policy

It is Grundon’s (“Grundon,” “we”, “our” or “us”) policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use the information and how you can control what you provide us.

This Privacy Policy also incorporates our Security Policy, our GDPR FAQ, our Cookie Policy and our Third Party Infrastructure Policy.

Information you provide us
Grundon may collect the following personally-identifying information:

  • contact information including name, email address, username and billing address
  • billing information including credit card details
  • preferences or settings that determine a consistent experience on our service
  • comments made on our service
  • your internet protocol (IP) address
  • feedback or requests for customer service support

The amount and type of information that Grundon gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at Grundon to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Grundon – by purchasing a paid account, for example – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions.

Information we collect automatically
Like most website operators, Grundon collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Grundon’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Grundon’ visitors use its website. From time to time, Grundon may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Cookies
A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Grundon uses cookies to help Grundon identify and track visitors, their usage of Grundon website, and their website access preferences. Grundon visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Grundon website, with the drawback that certain features of the Grundon website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Aggregated Statistics

How information is used
Grundon uses information it collects to deliver Grundon’s service to you and continuously enhance your experience. If you are a registered user of a Grundon website and have supplied your email address, Grundon may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Grundon and our products. We primarily use our blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users.

With whom information is shared
Grundon and third-party services use cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags to collect public information about visitors, including information used to enhance the user experience, such as personalising content and recommendations, and to securely collect and process payments.

Grundon discloses personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organisations that need to know that information in order to process it on Grundon’s behalf or to provide services available at Grundon’s websites, and that have agreed not to disclose it to others. This includes ad measurement services. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organisations may be located outside of your home country. By using Grundon’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

Additionally, Grundon may disclose personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Grundon believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Grundon, third parties or the public at large.

Grundon will not rent or sell personally-identifying information to anyone.

Business Transfers

You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Grundon may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Grundon does not store credit card details that are entered at the time of purchase, that information is sent directly to Woo Commerce (our payment processor) and we only store the necessary references to your account such that we can securely interact with our payment processor. You can control which information you supply at any time, with the caveat that it may prevent you from engaging in certain website-related activities.
